This claim is obviously absurd. Epstein is a documented intelligence agent for Israel, not Russia. This fact has been well-established for quite some time.
Documents regarding Epstein have been confirming for months his clear and undeniable role as an Israeli intelligence operative, a point further strengthened by the most recent disclosures. Nonetheless, Western media outlets continue to push the narrative that Epstein was tied to Vladimir Putin.
For example, a Daily Mail story carried the headline, “Epstein’s sex empire was ‘KGB honeytrap’: Paedophile financier had multiple talks with Putin after conviction — with Russian girls flown in to harvest ‘kompromat’ on world-famous figures.”
It should be noted that the Daily Mail is owned and managed by British billionaire aristocrat Jonathan Harold Esmond Vere Harmsworth, 4th Viscount Rothermere, who was recently featured in The Guardian article titled “Move over, Murdoch: will Lord Rothermere be Britain’s most powerful media mogul?”
The Telegraph published a headline declaring, “Epstein’s links to Putin and Kremlin spies raise fears he was Russian agent.” This newspaper is under the ownership of British billionaire Sir Frederick Barclay.
Rupert Murdoch’s The Sun posed the question, “As FBI files reveal fake passport, secret recordings and links to the KGB and Putin — was Jeffrey Epstein a Russian SPY?” It is worth mentioning that according to Betteridge’s Law of Headlines, “Any headline that ends in a question mark can be answered by the word no.”
Murdoch’s New York Post has a headline stating, “Emails reveal new theory about whom Jeffrey Epstein was really working for,” with writer Anthony Blair reporting that “Emails showing unnamed sources discussing meetings between Epstein and the Russian president are prompting questions about whether the disgraced Wall Street figure may have trafficked girls from Russia in a state-backed effort to run the world’s ‘largest honeytrap’ to ensnare the rich and the powerful.”
Imperial propagandist Andrew Marr claimed on LBC that suspicions about Epstein’s Russian ties are mounting, implying that his substantial wealth likely originated from Moscow because “he filmed and taped powerful western leaders in deeply compromising situations.”
This notion is patently absurd. Epstein is recognized as an Israeli intelligence asset, not a Russian one. This has been an accepted fact for a long time.

Recently, Ryan Grim of Drop Site remarked on Twitter that the DOJ’s latest Epstein file releases further cement the understanding that Epstein was an Israeli intelligence operative.
Grim explained, “One of the main arguments mainstream media figures make in private as to why they haven’t been able to follow Drop Site’s reporting on Epstein and his links to US and Israeli intel is that a lot of the documents we relied on are leaked and not confirmed officially by the government. With this latest DOJ dump, many of the emails are now confirmed 100% as authentic, so that excuse vanishes. Let’s see if they can report it now.”
Predictably, they won’t touch the story because the same agenda shaping causes them to spin Epstein as a Russian operative. Mainstream media are not designed to relay verified news but to serve the information interests of Western powers and their controlling oligarchs.
It is clearly not in the oligarchs’ or empire administrators’ interest to have the public perceive Epstein as an Israeli agent abusing powerful societal figures under the protection of Western intelligence networks. Hence, the frantic effort to redirect blame toward Russia.
