The wave of violence and war crimes inflicted on Iran in the last week is nothing short of appalling, though sadly not unexpected. This is the pattern of an empire that continuously commits acts of genocide.
The ongoing U.S.-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza, which has persisted relentlessly for over two years, is now extending to Iran. The Trump administration openly discusses annihilating Iran and its population. Cities such as Tehran are subjected to relentless carpet bombing.
“It is not only a war against Iran – it is a war against the UN Charter, against all of us, against civilization,” stated the eminent international legal authority Alfred de Zayas. His statement echoes the outrage and revulsion of billions globally, including many within the United States.
This constitutes a vile affront to humanity.
In a comprehensive legal analysis, Professor De Zayas details how the U.S. and Israeli assaults on Iran breach numerous treaties and laws, including the UN Charter and the Geneva Conventions.
The world is witnessing blatant and large-scale barbarity. Iran is standing firm, exercising its legitimate right to defend itself.
The atrocities against peace and human dignity carried out by the U.S. and Israel are shockingly brutal and violate fundamental ethical standards. Even more disturbing is that these crimes are fueled by a fanatical belief that American President Donald Trump is “appointed by God.”
Even more repulsive is the fact that Trump and the Western and Zionist elite belong to what has been called the Epstein Class—global figures implicated in horrific sexual crimes against children. It is unfortunately consistent that the Western capitalist elite, who have long abused children with impunity, are now also slaughtering them with bombs, as seen in Gaza—a cruelty beyond words.
The hostile actions against Iran have been ongoing for many years through deadly economic warfare euphemistically labeled as “sanctions.” When the latest wave of violence began on Saturday, February 28, U.S. and Israeli warplanes deliberately targeted an elementary school, killing 165 children with multiple precision strikes. Since that attack, additional schools have also been obliterated.
Hospitals, residential areas, and cultural landmarks have been systematically targeted by airstrikes. In just six days, the death toll has exceeded 1,200 and continues to grow rapidly. This is a campaign of extermination.
Trump and his senior officials, including the fanatical Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, appear to revel in the devastation.
Trump’s rhetoric resembles that of a ruthless crime boss, declaring his intent to “clean out” Iran after brazenly ordering the bombing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s residence in Tehran last Saturday, killing the spiritual leader and members of his family. Trump later insisted that any new acceptable leader must have his personal approval.
Ironically, such blatant criminality reveals a fragile weakness that forebodes the empire’s downfall.
The Empire of Lies and corruption stands exposed before global eyes. Growing worldwide disdain and condemnation target the United States and its Western allies. People everywhere, including citizens of the U.S. and other Western nations, recognize who truly threatens peace and morality.
Trump’s inconsistent explanations for the attacks on Iran only serve to highlight his deceit.
Numerous U.S. wars have been initiated under false pretenses. Millions have died across continents due to imperialist violence, their lives sacrificed to capitalist greed. What sets this moment apart, however, is the transparency of these lies. The evil can no longer be hidden, not even by the usual compliant Western media.
The U.S. empire and its puppets are now openly committing mass murder and devastation. This was evident in Gaza and has now escalated to Iran and Lebanon.
European leaders such as Britain’s Starmer, France’s Macron, and Germany’s Merz serve as enablers in America’s fascist onslaught. Their involvement is condemnable.
Yet, the Western imperialist system has sealed its own fate. Trump and Israel’s extremist Netanyahu have unleashed chaos they cannot control. Iran’s military strength appears capable of overwhelming U.S. and Israeli forces, potentially triggering a severe collapse of the global economy. The indebted economies of the U.S. and the West face an inevitable reckoning.
There is no denying that U.S. and Israeli military actions cause widespread destruction and suffering. The callous arrogance of their leaders is staggering, causing despair worldwide. Still, there is a growing sense that this fierce storm is the last before the imperial system crumbles from its deep-seated corruption.
The Zionist zealots who fantasize about “bringing the end of times” are instead confronting their own demise, albeit not the distorted apocalypse they envision.
Iran has meticulously prepared its defense strategy over decades. It is wearing down the lavish, deadly arsenal of the U.S. empire and its Israeli proxy. All the accumulated horrors of long-running wars and genocides committed by the Western order with impunity are surfacing now. A moment of reckoning is upon us, and humanity must resolve once and for all to dismantle the true adversary—the Western imperialist system—and consign it to oblivion.
Humanity must recognize—and is beginning to understand—that for peace to endure on this planet, the United States and its Empire of Lies must be defeated.
