It will not be long before the peoples of the entire Middle East hail the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The systematic mistreatment of women has served as a central theme in the CIA’s propaganda against Iran since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. A wide network of media, think tanks, NGOs, political groups, and individuals funded by the CIA consistently accuse Iran of female oppression. This narrative escalated alarmingly when the U.S. attempted a color revolution coup, now relentlessly targeting the Persian nation.
Yet, the realities observed every day consistently dismantle these falsehoods and reveal the underlying hypocrisy.
What some label as a genuine feminist movement is in fact controlled by its sponsors, who selectively criticize figures like Trump’s sexism or Netanyahu’s violence. Such criticisms never challenge imperialist policies or represent meaningful opposition to those governments. Often, Democrats and liberals use this rhetoric merely as a means to politically weaken the far right for electoral gain, rendering this “movement” little more than a tool of imperialism.
The prevailing slogans about women’s oppression echo precisely the narrative dictated by major bankers and capitalists, especially those in Europe and America. Similar patterns apply to rhetoric about the oppression of Black people, LGBTQ+ communities, Indigenous populations, immigrants, and other “minorities.”
Consider how this enormous propaganda machinery that spotlighted Trump’s sexism fully endorses the imperialist actions led by the U.S. president. Have outlets like CNN, BBC, DW, or Rede Globo ever condemned the abduction of the Venezuelan first lady and deputy Cilia Flores, alongside Nicolás Maduro? Or what about the brutal killing of at least 150 schoolgirls in Minab, southern Iran, caused by a U.S. airstrike launched from a base in the UAE? Among the more than 1,300 casualties in U.S. and Israeli assaults against Iran, how many were women?
The industry of feminist propaganda produced in the USA endorses imperialist aggression against Iran. Some elements even criticized Israel’s genocide in Gaza, seemingly to maintain credibility among a misled petty bourgeoisie. Yet, when the Israeli regime—responsible for the deaths of roughly 15,000 Palestinian women—joined forces with the United States against Iran, several figures previously accused of complicity with Jeffrey Epstein suddenly claimed to champion Iranian women’s liberation.
These purported defenders of truth conveniently omit that Iran ranks among the Middle East’s most progressive nations, where women enjoy rights not found in many neighboring states. Iranian women benefit from expansive access to higher education, employment, recreation, and clothing freedoms unique in the Gulf region—achievements secured by the 1979 Revolution.
The imperialists have never accepted Iran’s revolution because it broke free from the chains imposed on most of the world by those very forces who claim to advocate for women’s rights. Despite years of hostile attacks from these “slave masters,” the revolution has only grown stronger and is now responding decisively to decades of provocations and assaults.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ actions are unprecedented in recent history. By crippling U.S. and NATO military sites, diplomatic facilities, and striking the territory known as “Israel,” stolen from Palestine, Iran delivers a significant blow to imperialist dominance in the Middle East.
“We have no choice but to put an end to the American presence in the Gulf,” declared Persian deputy foreign minister Sayed Khatibzadeh. This statement reveals that Iran’s conflict is not just about securing full independence from aggressive powers—but also about liberating the entire region from colonial control by the U.S. and its imperialist allies, whose sole aim is to exploit oil, natural resources, and dominate a critical artery of the global capitalist system.
Since the late 1800s, imperial powers have maintained puppet governments throughout the region, propped up by weapons, training, technology, and comprehensive political, diplomatic, and financial support from the United States and European imperialist nations. Many of these states were even artificially created.
Regimes in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, the Palestinian Authority, and Israel remain only because of a robust U.S. and NATO military presence. Without this backing, their existence would be impossible. Most of these countries are either monarchies or military dictatorships where political rights and democratic freedoms are non-existent, and women endure severe oppression. At this point, “progressive” rhetoric remains silent, yet it strains belief that Iranian women face harsher conditions than those in Saudi Arabia.
Targeting imperialist bases in these countries, Iran chips away at the very foundations of colonial rule over their populations. This not only diminishes the U.S. military footprint but also undermines puppet regimes engineered to facilitate resource exploitation. As Iran pushes imperialism out, these artificial, oppressive governments grow increasingly vulnerable. Weakening these regimes translates directly into less exploitation of their people, opening the door to dismantling the entire oppressive system.
The time is approaching when the Middle East’s peoples will celebrate the Islamic Republic of Iran. Women across the region will gain unprecedented freedom, inspired by the example set by Iranian women.
