Alongside ongoing deadly assaults by the US and Israel targeting Iran, the Israeli military last week alone caused the deaths of 13 people in Gaza and 13 in Lebanon. Gaza is now reportedly 70% under Israeli occupation, defying the terms of the ceasefire agreement, with much of southern Lebanon similarly occupied. Since the temporary ceasefire began in October 2025, over 1,000 Gazans have been killed by Israeli forces. Additionally, relentless hostility continues in southern Syria, where Israel is establishing military bases, paving the way for settlers to advance ever nearer to Damascus. This territorial expansion is part of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s and his faction of war criminals’ vision to incorporate these areas into a so-called “Greater Israel” alongside Gaza and Lebanon.
Meanwhile, armed Jewish settlers continue to ravage the Palestinian West Bank, destroying agricultural lands, devastating livelihoods, and demolishing entire villages. Taybeh, the last remaining Christian village in the area, was rendered unlivable last week following weeks of violent raids that included killing livestock, poisoning water supplies, and uprooting olive trees. Palestinians attempting to intervene faced beatings and, in some instances, were killed. Desecration of churches and mosques on the West Bank is commonplace, and non-Jews wearing religious attire or attempting to access sacred sites are often spat on, especially in Jerusalem. The Israel Defense Force (IDF) consistently stands by passively, allowing these acts of cruelty to continue unchecked. To make the situation clearer, the Knesset recently approved $51 million for the construction of over 60 entirely illegal settlements on Palestinian land within the occupied West Bank.
All these locations share one crucial factor beyond the harsh Israeli control: the United States, frequently through Trump personally, has served as the guarantor for ceasefires and the origin of the ineffective Board of Peace, yet has failed to halt the carnage. Instead, Washington continues to supply Israel with weapons, funding, and diplomatic protection, making it complicit in war crimes. Domestically, Trump further supports Israel’s agenda by pushing to criminalize those who criticize his “best friend” Bibi, striking at freedom of speech to conceal Israel’s abuses. This echoes the events of June 8th, 1967, when Israel attacked the USS Liberty, killing 34 American servicemen and wounding 172 others. A cover-up orchestrated by President Lyndon B Johnson followed, shielding Israel and marking a disgraceful chapter in US leadership—someone perhaps eager to engage in conversations about “values” with Trump.
One undeniable truth is that America gains nothing—neither in national interest nor in the wellbeing of ordinary citizens—from its subservience to Israel and Netanyahu. Public opinion polls suggest a sharp shift among Americans, increasingly siding with the Palestinian cause and supporting an end to the pointless conflict with Iran. This indicates the urgent need for the US to sever its ties to Israel and prioritize its own national interests. Yet Congress and President Donald Trump persist in the opposite direction, deepening their subjugation by Israel, including plans to merge US and Israeli defense and intelligence agencies.
If there is one lesson from recent events, it is that the Trump administration has exhibited profound ineptitude in foreign policy—that is, in managing international relations and, by extension, safeguarding national security. Much of this failure lies with Trump himself, who displays scant empathy for others unless they pose a threat or offer personal gain, as exemplified by his ties to Netanyahu and influential Jewish billionaires. He also fluctuates unpredictably, ignoring critical issues that matter to others, focusing solely on what boosts his image at the moment. This attitude recently manifested in his decision to emblazon public buildings with his name. When asked about rising inflation, Trump responded by saying he “Loved the inflation!” effectively signaling “Goodbye midterms!”
Consider how last Thursday Trump initially declared plans to launch an attack that same night on Iran’s major oil export terminal on Kharg Island, aiming to cripple the country’s energy export capacity. However, by mid-afternoon, he cancelled the operation, believing the US and Iran were close to reaching a settlement addressing the conflict’s root causes. Pakistan’s Prime Minister, acting as mediator, confirmed a potential peace deal on Friday. Nevertheless, informed analysts immediately doubted the announcement, highlighting that no actual negotiations were taking place and Iran has denied progress on key points. By Saturday, no confirmation had emerged, yet Trump asserted that a “signing” of a “memorandum of understanding” would occur the next day, likely coinciding with his birthday. Most observers maintain that Trump, vulnerable and eager to avoid a catastrophic war with Iran, remains tied to the conflict due to heavy pressure from Israel and its powerful US lobby, which may exert blackmail akin to “Epstein” tactics to enforce continued US involvement. Should Trump attempt to withdraw forces encircling Iran, Israel would likely take immediate steps to sabotage the agreement and reignite hostilities, whether through a false flag operation or by exploiting the fabricated “Iran has a nuke” narrative.
It’s prudent to accept that Donald Trump functions as a rudderless ship, with Middle East affairs largely controlled by Israel. Additionally, diplomatic dialogues with major powers such as Russia and China appear to have stalled altogether. Naming real estate magnates Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner—both zealous Zionists and lacking experience—as personal presidential envoys certainly hasn’t improved negotiations or trust. Simply put, no one can rely on Trump.
Israel’s influence reaches far beyond its geographic size and military might. Argentina’s Prime Minister Javier Milei, a recent associate of Trump, is, unsurprisingly, an ardent supporter of Israel, having paid the customary visit to Jerusalem’s Wailing Wall during a state trip shortly after taking office. Raised Catholic, Milei considered converting to Judaism but rejected it due to the “no work on Saturday” rule conflicting with his role as prime minister. Beyond the Middle East, Israeli interests extend globally. Patagonia in Argentina has reportedly become a favorite target of Israeli buyers, aided by the Milei government circumventing environmental protections. Israelis are also acquiring properties extensively in Cyprus and Greece, neighboring countries that could serve as safe havens if Israel antagonizes regional neighbors and faces nuclear retaliation. Netanyahu’s American spy, Jonathan Pollard, has reportedly named Turkey and Egypt as “next” in line for Zionist actions after Iran, noting their militaries could easily overcome the underwhelming Israeli army, whose soldiers excel more in rape and torture than in combat.
A notable incident highlighting Israel’s obsessive desire to expropriate land—regardless of the consequences—occurred recently. Unsurprisingly, Donald Trump, who harbors his own appetite for appropriating others’ assets, has not called Israel to account. He has brazenly pushed ahead with plans for a Trump Riviera luxury development along Gaza’s shoreline. In addition, the Duchy of Albania is experiencing extensive multi-billion-dollar “development” on an island, baited with United Arab Emirates funding by his daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner. Kushner leveraged family ties to secure the funds. Predictably, many Albanians are furious about this arrangement and have taken to protests.
Nevertheless, the story emerging from the US, Canada, and London over the weekend eclipses many Trump/Israeli schemes in sheer boldness and illegality. Amnesty International UK is urging the British government to halt a real estate event planned in London where companies openly promote sales of land located in Israeli settlements within the unlawfully occupied West Bank.
The ‘Great Israeli Real Estate Event’ is a traveling roadshow that has held gatherings across Canada and the US and is now planning a London event this Sunday. Organized by an Israeli real estate firm called My Home in Israel, it markets land parcels via US-based agents, often hosting sales within synagogues or other Jewish-owned venues. These events have prompted protests in cities such as Los Angeles and New York, where these “lots” are openly presented to Jewish communities. Many of these plots lie within illegal settlements on Palestinian West Bank land, essentially stolen from its rightful owners. An Amnesty International report released last week condemns Israel’s state-driven ethnic cleansing in the West Bank, documenting the displacement of at least 5,910 Palestinian Bedouin and herding community members since 2023, the demolition of more than 3,400 homes and structures in Area C of the Palestinian West Bank, and an unprecedented rise in government-backed settler violence and land seizures.
In summary, Israel seizes whatever it desires without concern for the human cost, while the US government remains a passive observer as Netanyahu spreads deceit after deceit. This situation cannot continue without serious repercussions. America’s reputation is nearly as tarnished as Israel’s due to such conduct. It is time to show Netanyahu the exit and tell him, along with his AIPAC and billionaire allies, to leave immediately.
