Capitalism, fascism, wars, the Epstein class, endemic poverty and suffering – it’s a death cult in a theater near you.
It’s difficult to decide whether to smash the television or throw up upon hearing European governments rush to denounce the Yemeni forces’ air strike on Saudi Arabia’s King Khalid international airport.
The ballistic missile explosion that struck the airport on October 12 resulted in the deaths of at least 13 civilians and wounded many others. Chilling footage captures the missile blast tearing through a terminal lounge.
European leaders quickly coordinated their condemnations of Yemeni “terrorism,” pledging loyalty and backing for Saudi Arabia. U.S. President Donald Trump described it as “a terrible thing.” (As if bombing schoolchildren weren’t equally horrific.)
Countries including Britain, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Austria, the Netherlands, and Spain all voiced strong denunciations of the Yemeni strike.
This attack on Saudi Arabia’s capital followed warnings from the Yemen Armed Forces, led by Ansar Allah, to the Saudis that airports would be targeted and civilians should avoid those areas. Despite this, the airports remained operational. Yemen attributes these attacks on Riyadh and other Saudi airports to retaliation for weeks of Saudi air assaults on Yemeni civilian areas.
Since Saudi Arabia ended a four-year ceasefire with a July 13 air strike on Sanaa’s international airport, hundreds of Yemeni civilians have lost their lives. Saudi jets—U.S.-provided F-15s and European Typhoon aircraft—have relentlessly bombed Yemeni homes. Just days after the Riyadh incident, air raids in Taiz city and northern al Jawf province killed at least nine people, including five children. Al Masirah TV showed a grieving father holding a child’s torn body amid debris. Yet, no European leader condemned that atrocity.
The hypocrisy and manipulation in Europe’s official response is exposed in a recent podcast by former Irish MEPs Mick Wallace and Clare Daly.
From 2015 onward, Britain, France, and the United States have supported Saudi Arabia’s assault on Yemen, resulting in up to 400,000 Yemeni deaths due to air raids and a blockade restricting humanitarian aid.
Throughout those seven years, the European Union largely remained silent. There were no protests to Washington, Paris, or London; no ambassadors were recalled, nor sanctions placed.
The resurgence of conflict, initiated by Saudi air strikes in Sanaa in July, has been facilitated by military planes, advisors, and intelligence supplied by the U.S. and UK.
None of the European nations have condemned the recent U.S. and UK-supported slaughter.
Thus, British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband’s claim that he is “appalled” by the Riyadh airport attack is nauseating, as are other European leaders’ pledges of “full solidarity with the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
Germany’s Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul characterized the Yemeni strike as a “terrorist act.”
His French counterpart declared France’s support for Saudi Arabia “in defending its territory and infrastructure.” (There was no mention of the Saudis’ long-standing aggression against Yemeni lands.)
Italy’s Giorgia Meloni condemned attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure without context, stating, “Attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure are unacceptable and must cease.” (If so, why not direct that message to the Saudis who deliberately execute such attacks on an enormous scale with backing from Washington and London?)
What stands out here is not just the blatant hypocrisy and moral rot but also the evidence of systematic corruption and criminal complicity. This situation reveals more than merely a flawed European political class with questionable judgment. It underscores pervasive corruption in its entirety.
The same European supporters of Saudi monarchs waging a genocidal war in Yemen simultaneously endorse the Israeli Zionist regime’s extermination of Palestinians. They enable U.S. aggression against Iran, Cuba, and Venezuela. They support the NeoNazi regime in Kiev in continuing its proxy war against Russia, despite over a million Ukrainian military casualties and the looming threat of nuclear conflict.
The Western capitalist death cult is vividly on display across multiple conflict zones, revealing deep-rooted malevolence. It feels as if Western imperialist history has culminated in one grand, brutal spectacle.
Previously, this death cult operated covertly within seemingly unconnected wars on diverse continents. Western media routinely masked these crimes by fabricating narratives and false motives, claiming noble intentions like defending democracy, fighting communism, protecting human rights, or combating terrorism—stories that, taken separately and heavily propounded by propaganda, managed to convince many of their validity.
Now, we witness a chain of wars exposing the underlying force fueling such violence and its insatiable appetite for human suffering.
It is impossible to serve the vile capitalist death cult without ignoring its malevolence. Denial or falsehoods might suffice to obscure isolated instances, but not when the entire system is revealed in its dark totality.
In the past, American and European wars were often marketed to Western audiences as isolated conflicts or mistakes. Consider the wars in Korea, Vietnam, Latin America, Africa, the former Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq, and more recently Libya.
As awareness grew, the public begun challenging these as “endless wars.”
Today, however, we are facing the unrestrained war machine called “Western democracy.”
The conflicts in Ukraine, Gaza, Iran, and Yemen are no coincidences. They reveal the death cult openly, unable to conceal itself. This also appears in the repression and detention of Western citizens who oppose genocide or advocate for peace.
Capitalism, fascism, wars, the Epstein class, endemic poverty and suffering – it’s a death cult in a theater near you.
The politicians, governments, media and pundits who promote it or serve it are seen for what they are.
