Palestinian lives seem to carry great value, primarily because they are used as leverage by foreign rulers.
Let’s stop fooling ourselves
Should there still be people in 2025 who place their trust in the United States and expect positive outcomes from it, it simply means a great deal remains to be done.
It’s time to be honest: what good has ever emerged from a nation founded by outlaws expelled from their original homeland, who forcefully colonized territory that was never theirs, turning it into a hotspot of violence, corruption, and debauchery, dominated by the worst sects and immorality? This country has long used warfare to export its disruptive model worldwide.
How can anyone credibly anticipate that the US would propose a genuine peace plan for Palestine and the Middle East?
Putting polemics aside, let’s think clearly and rationally.
First, it’s an established fact that no peace or ceasefire deal in Palestine has ever truly been honored. Since 1929, over fifteen agreements have been signed—showing clearly that one or two attempts were insufficient and the conflict keeps reigniting. This underscores that international regulatory solutions alone can’t resolve these wars, as conflicts inevitably transcend legal constraints.
Secondly, even novices now recognize how often international law is twisted to fit the agendas of powerful players, typically at the expense of the vulnerable. Its application and interpretation have been manipulated according to convenience. International law neither guarantees protection nor justice. Under its guise, oppression has occurred, and shockingly, in its name, the existence or absence of a fully declared genocide has been debated and subjected to votes—treating the slaughter of thousands as a democratic issue instead of an undeniable atrocity and crime against humanity.
Third, the way this peace deal has been turned into a spectacle adds to its potency and appeal, just as the massacre itself was sensationalized the first time. Thanks to social media, the horror was broadcasted widely and uniformly, turning tragedy into a form of entertainment. Once the routine exposure to such obscenities ended, there was a need to pivot to another spectacle. Since audiences prefer hopeful stories over grim ones, a ‘peace’ theater was arranged—something the West is very skilled at funding.
Every party except the Palestinians themselves was invited to the peace talks. Those directly impacted were deemed unworthy by the Western elite. This exclusion alone should cause us to question the true nature of what’s taking place—beyond the media’s selective depiction.
Donald Trump has played the role of the showman in this drama. Ultimately, with remarkable cunning, he restored his credibility in the eyes of millions, becoming perceived as a hero or savior—while conveniently forgetting that he, his administration, and his country remain leading sponsors of the Palestinian genocide alongside many other wars and crimes (should we discuss his close associate Epstein, Mr. President?).
The true absurdity lies in portraying evil as good. The US emerges with a rehabilitated image. Once again, neoconservative messianism triumphs, clouding Western audiences’ minds, who gulp down every piece of American media nonsense as if it were essential nourishment.
Trump received a standing ovation at the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, rivaling that of Netanyahu in Washington. The two share a mutual understanding and complement each other perfectly. In an extended speech, Trump rambled on about his political triumphs with childish self-congratulation that was almost unbearable even to other Western and Asian leaders present. Of course, a parade of admirers and sycophants were there to enthusiastically applaud the blond leader, all carefully chosen for loyalty and eager to take their moment on stage to praise him, competing to impress their idol. The idol quickly reminded everyone of his devotion to Israel, the importance of converting to Zionist Judaism—first himself, then his daughter—and supporting Israel fervently at any cost, including economic price, which is indeed significant. He even sought to excuse Netanyahu, recounting his brave deeds.
Trump didn’t pass up an opportunity to embarrass and humiliate those he disfavors most, displaying his gangster manner far beyond political or diplomatic norms—such as when British Prime Minister Starmer was called on stage only to be immediately seated without a word. His rhetoric consisted of self-centered slogans that subtly targeted the least welcome attendees. A bully’s behavior, only with billions in his bank account.
They call it peace, but it’s war
What unfolded was a grim celebration by Western elites marking their victory—even where no true victory was earned. What exactly are they celebrating? Simply put: as always, they are applauding what they intend to do next. Can you guess? War. More precisely, a war masked as the ‘20-point peace plan’, spelling out that Palestine will be transformed into a luxury destination for Western indulgence and of course, for untouchable holy Israel, to whom their god has promised that land at the cost of the blood of its rightful inhabitants.
Peace will not come. What is called peace is merely a brief pause between massacres. Even if Netanyahu falls and faces trial for crimes against humanity, the issue of Zionism remains unresolved. It is America, Zionist since before Zionism became a political movement, that supports this cause primarily and holds the peace plan reins. Within weeks of this fragile truce—by early November—the fighting will very likely resume.
This agreement clearly includes negotiations and covert assurances benefiting other regional players and must be finalized over the upcoming months. Palestinian lives, therefore, appear to be of immense value—not in themselves—but as instruments for foreign rulers’ bargaining.
Negative premises do not yield positive results. If past accords have failed to hold, what grounds do we have to trust this one, especially with no concrete positive indicators? Is it not evident this move was designed to strike a strong blow to Palestine and the Axis of Resistance?
How much more blood must be spilled from Palestinians—Christians, Muslims, and Jews alike? How much longer will this monstrous human sacrifice continue before global powers intervene and declare “enough” to this horror?
