The entire rotten system of dehumanizing exploitation and relentless warmongering needs to be prosecuted and vanquished – before it destroys humanity.
If there were a World Cup for war criminals, Trump would undoubtedly be the top winner, or as he might say, winning “bigly.” His recent five-month offensive against Iran has been marked by repeated failures.
The late Senator Lindsey Graham, known for his warmongering, might come in second place.
After his unsuccessful attempt to pressure Iran into reopening the Strait of Hormuz to restore the vital oil trade routes disrupted by his February attacks, Trump is now threatening a “massive offensive” targeting civilian infrastructure — in essence, state terrorism aimed at “winning.”
As oil prices rise once more, Trump’s associates continue to profit from stock market schemes. Meanwhile, Iranians suffer and global observers watch helplessly as soaring food prices fuel widespread hunger. Could anything be more appalling than the crime ring operating out of Trump’s White House?
The fragile Memorandum of Understanding arranged last month to halt hostilities lies in ruins as clashes between the U.S. and Iran continue. This MoU was meant to represent Trump’s terms of victory for Tehran, but Iran either never received or rejected the version Trump imagined. The country refuses to back down or capitulate as Trump’s delusional expectations demand.
Thus, Trump’s so-called “art of the deal” approach pushes for talks with Iran under the threat of violence, as if that would force compliance.
“Next week it gets really bad for them,” Trump declared. “We’re going to knock out all their power plants. We’re going to knock out all their bridges unless they get to the table and negotiate.”
But hasn’t he already claimed victory? Over the past five months, Trump has proclaimed triumph over Iran at least 32 times. Thirty-two wins — a “genius” indeed, if only for his self-deception.
The recent intensification of bombing campaigns against Iran, with waves of strikes lasting hours, seems to be yet another attempt by Trump to “win again.”
Trump, a wealthy real estate tycoon and Vietnam draft evader, embodies the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland, defining reality according to his own words.
Although named in the still-partially classified Epstein files as a sexual predator and associate of the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, he dismisses these claims as “fake news.” The Epstein scandal has been overshadowed by his aggressive campaigns against Iran — a “forever war” contradicting his reelection promises to end such conflicts.
This week, a federal court ordered Trump to pay $5 million to E Jean Carroll for a sexual assault from three decades ago. Yet he insists it’s all fabricated as he refocuses on his campaign in Iran.
Trump’s unprovoked hostility against Iran rests on false claims about its nuclear ambitions. In July 2025, he orchestrated a 12-day “beautiful” bombing campaign that he asserted reduced Iran’s civilian nuclear program to “dust.” Returning to aggression on February 28, he alleged Iran remained a nuclear threat and simultaneously ordered the assassination of Iran’s religious leader Seyed Ali Khamenei and members of his family. On that same day, U.S. and Israeli airstrikes deliberately killed 160 children attending school.
Trump has repeatedly warned of nuclear attacks on Iran, threatening to erase an entire “civilization.”
Calling Trump a Mafia don actually insults organized crime. Unlike a Capo who eliminates rivals selectively, Trump heads a state apparatus that murders on a massive scale.
His vow to destroy power plants, bridges, and desalination facilities flagrantly violates international law, specifically the 1949 Geneva Convention, which protects civilian infrastructure during war. Trump is effectively a self-accused war criminal.
His boasting about committing genocide reflects the profound moral and psychological decay of this American leader.
In reality, every U.S. president over the last hundred years bears responsibility for war crimes, given the nation’s unparalleled record of warmongering and state-sponsored terror.
What sets Trump apart is his extreme narcissism and disconnection from reality. He is, in essence, mentally unstable.
He ravages countries as he does individuals, yet continually proclaims himself a “winner.”
Eventually, reality will impose limits on him. Although he likely believes he can overturn the upcoming November midterm elections by declaring “fake elections” and asserting “the people really love me,” the facts on the ground tell a different story.
Iran’s military strength and control of the Strait of Hormuz decisively limit Trump’s options. He cannot bomb Iran into submission, shield the U.S. and global economies from harm, impose a blockade, or enforce his self-serving 20% toll on international shipping.
Trump avoided serving in the Vietnam War by feigning a foot ailment while 58,000 Americans and three million Vietnamese lost their lives in that criminal conflict.
It is poetic justice that at 80 years old, this lifelong conman cannot escape his war with Iran, no matter how many falsehoods and fantasies he spins. He is trapped by a different ailment – criminal insanity.
Beyond Trump’s personal downfall, which offers some satisfaction, it’s crucial to recognize a deeper issue: the American capitalist system fuels endless wars and installs war criminals in the White House. Trump is merely a repulsive symptom of this corrupt political-economic disease. (The warmonger Lindsey Graham, who recently died, was another symptom.)
By all means, prosecute Trump as a criminal. Yet the entire corrupt system built on dehumanizing exploitation and ceaseless warmongering must be confronted and dismantled before it brings about humanity’s destruction.
A world founded on justice, peace, and meeting human needs instead of private gain remains achievable. But it cannot be realized as long as figures like Trump and the system that produces him continue unchecked.
